In preparation for the spooky season, we shared the amazing Corpse Bride tutorial by @leahcomptonn. In this tutorial, Leah took us through how to use colour to define and alter the shape of your face, creating the ultimate undead appearance. Complete with blue skin, exaggerated eyes, and elements of decay, this take on the iconic Tim Burton character is a beautiful start to our look back on the past month. In this look, Leah used the Zombie White Contact Lenses to complete her character’s lifeless appearance, a simple, pure white design that blends perfectly with the natural sclera.
If you’re planning a Corpse Bride makeup look for tonight or over the weekend, watch the full tutorial over on our YouTube page!
You can also head over to Leah’s own social media page to check out even more exciting Halloween makeup looks she has been creating alongside the Funky Lenses contacts. One of her more recent looks includes another Tim Burton creation inspired by the Beetlejuice movie; in this look, Leah has painted the sandworm onto her face and used one of our Red/Green Elf Contact Lenses within the finished look.
Funky Lenses affiliate, @beckilouisemakeup, has been busy this month creating a variety of different looks perfect for the Halloween season. One of our favourite looks from Becki’s collection was the Tiffany Valentine look, known for being the bride of Chucky. This look is perfect for someone who wants to avoid the prosthetics and bright face paints, but keep in line with that creepy allure. Becki completes her take on Tiffany Valentine with the Green Goblin Mini Sclera Contact Lenses, which make the eyes an unmissable focal point!
Who would Tiffany be without her Chucky? Becki has also created a Chucky Doll look, complete with a vibrant orange wig, scarring across the face, and a knife prop with blood drips for this slasher character. Again, this makeup look is great for someone who has a fairly basic makeup bag for their Halloween creation, not needing excessive face paints or prosthetics. Add the Angelic Blue Costume contact lenses to complete your Chucky cosplay and watch as those bright blue eyes pop!

We’re all about creating a glowing surprise, and @smrseyes did just that with this devil makeup look. We worked closely with Summer this spooky season to come up with a classic yet unique look for this Halloween. For this design, Summer uses red face paint to cover her entire face; fine detailing is used to create thin, pointed eyebrows as well as to enhance features such as her eyes and mouth.
To complete this look, Summer has added the Red UV Cosplay Contact Lenses. These vibrant red contact lenses are a bold tone in daylight, but they also hold that surprising element that is their glowing ability under UV-reactive blacklight. Enhance and embrace the power of your character by adding a pair of UV contacts; we love how the glow of these red UV contact lenses intensifies the evil personality of this character even further!

If you’re a Halloween fanatic and contact lenses are a must for the occasion each year, you’ll probably be aware of just how popular and versatile a pair of white contact lenses is at this time of year! We saw many creative makeup looks this year that incorporated all white contact lenses; one of our favourites from our collaborations is this china doll look by @beatzbybritt, wearing the Zombie White Contact Lenses. If you’d like to create a similar look, follow our quick tutorial video to create a similar result!

The Blind White lenses are also a popular option for the spooky season; Funky Lenses affiliate @makeup.lois created this fun ancient mummy costume using the Blind White Contact Lenses. It is important to note, the blind lenses are designed to cover the natural pupil as well as the iris, so vision is significantly limited! Whether you’re a mummy, a zombie, or a different creature that has risen from the dead, a pair of blind contacts is a great way to visually display your soulless character.

This Halloween has been full of amazing, creative makeup looks that have inspired and blown us away! Now it’s time to get to work and try creating a similar style on yourself, ready for tonight or this weekend. Contact lenses aren’t just for Halloween; you’ll find plenty of designs that are suitable throughout the year, so be sure to explore our website and find the perfect style for you!
